AtTask to Give Away $1 Million in Project & Portfolio Management Software Licenses
"March to a Million" encourages adoption of PPM software for VARs and Consultants through aggressive product giveaway

OREM, Utah – October 31, 2006 — AtTask, Inc., a leading provider of project management software, today introduced "March to a Million," a new initiative focused on the rapid expansion of its recently announced VAR and Consulting Partner Programs. As part of the initiative, AtTask is prepared to provide qualified partners with up to $12,000 worth of AtTask software for internal use. The Web–based PPM software will help resellers and consultants more effectively manage their projects as they work with their customers to implement a variety of solutions.

AtTask's reseller partners use AtTask to embed them deeper into their client accounts by engaging in the project management process. AtTask consultants add strategic value to their customers by being able to provide the technology that supports their recommendations. Both resellers and consultants experience repeat sales as their customers experience the power and viral nature of AtTask.

"We not only want resellers and consultants to be our partners, we want to them to be AtTask advocates by using our software internally to help them manage their businesses," said Chad Perry, vice president of channel sales for AtTask. "We recognize that there have been limited choices in PPM software for resellers and consultants, and we are confident that once they use AtTask, they will see why it has become one of the highest adopted PPM software in the industry. That is why we are so willing to put our software where our mouth is. Our goal with ?March to a Million' is to quickly establish 100 strategic partnerships and award our partners with more than $1 million worth of our software."

AtTask v4 is a browser, platform and database independent application that is available as software as a service or as a self–hosted enterprise solution. In addition to task, resource, document and portfolio management, and advanced scheduling and reporting features, AtTask allows organizations to customize the solution to meet the needs of their operations. AtTask also provides seamless integration with other applications, including CRM, finance and human resources software.

"We work closely with our partners, including providing training and support, to help implement AtTask internally," added Perry. "We have a number of professional services providers and software integrators that use AtTask to help them document their processes in project templates, track project performance, and then refine the templates to improve project estimates and success. AtTask helps organizations in a variety of industries to focus on working together as a team while taking individual and group responsibility for the success of projects. VAR and consulting project managers will be able to plan and allocate resources more effectively, while reducing the number of redundant projects and processes."
