AtTask Named an Inc. 500 Company

OREM, Utah––September 29, 2008 – AtTask, the leading provider of project and portfolio management (PPM) software, announced today that it has been named to the Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing private companies in the United States. The company reported that its sales grew 740.4% over the past three years, ranking it #420 on the list, and #23 among technology companies.

“This is a very exciting time for us,” said Scott Johnson, CEO of AtTask. “Our product is embraced by industry-leading companies to help them prioritize and execute the right projects that meet their strategic objectives. As our company continues to grow, it’s great to see our customer-focused approach resonate with businesses worldwide.”

“If you want to find out which companies are going to change the world, look at the Inc. 500,” said Inc. Editor Jane Berentson. “These are the most innovative, dynamic, fast-growing companies in the nation – the ones coming up with solutions to some of our knottiest problems, creating systems that let us conduct business faster and easier, and manufacturing products we soon discover we can’t live without. The Inc. 500 list is Inc. magazine’s tribute to American business ingenuity and ambition.”

Several factors contribute to AtTask’s rapid growth. The enterprise and SMBs alike are recognizing the benefits of on-demand project management software and how it enables their businesses to achieve their financial and strategic goals. The company has recently moved into new international markets, opening offices in the UK, China, and Japan. And AtTask has received several industry awards including the Gold Award, the Red Herring 100 North America (joining previous winners such as Google, Skype and YouTube), and the 2008 CODiE Award for Best Project Management Software.

The 2008 Inc. 500 list measures revenue growth from 2004 through 2007. To qualify, companies must be U.S.-based and privately held, for profit, independent – not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies – as of December 31, 2007, and have had at least $200,000 in revenue in 2004, and $2 million in 2007.
