SIIA Names AtTask a “Best of Breed” as CODiE Award Finalist For 2009

OREM, Utah--March 3, 2009--The Software & Information Industry Association (SIIA) names AtTask, the world’s most popular provider of project and portfolio management (PPM) solutions, as a finalist for its 24th Annual CODiE Awards. Chosen from a field of over 850 nominations, AtTask’s PPM solution is recognized for enabling organizations to align strategic vision and objectives with project selection and execution, enterprise-wide.

According to SIIA President Ken Wasch, “The CODiE Awards recognize those companies providing the best new technology products and services across a broad array of industries … The competition is particularly steep this year during the 24th Annual SIIA CODiE Awards, making the selection as a CODiE Finalist a real achievement.”

“Being recognized by the CODiE judges, and our industry peers, for enabling executives to align strategic vision and financial objectives with project selection and execution on enterprise-wide business projects, affirms that we are incorporating the right innovations into our product to help organizations maximize their resources and reduce costs,” says Scott Johnson, CEO of AtTask. “Managers and executives in any industry can see what’s happening from boardroom decisions to project team execution with real-time, reliable data and can actually forecast when projects will be completed—there is no other PPM solution that is offering this kind of functionality and business value.”

This nomination is the latest in a series of recognition for AtTask, one of 2008’s CODiE Award winners. AtTask is ranked on the Inc. 500’s list of fastest-growing private companies in America, included on Apple’s “Go-to-Market” list of iPhone web apps, and recognized for its superior feature set, help/support, and collaboration tools by TopTenREVIEWS for the third year in a row. Chosen as a Red Herring 100 North America Winner, AtTask also finished 2008 with record Q4 revenues--141% year-over-year increase.

According to the SIIA, “Through a unique combination of journalist and expert peer review, the CODiE Awards recognize 71 categories of outstanding products and services. This year’s 345 Finalists represent and impressive array of technology and business excellence and success.”
